
Express paid tribute to former board member Gordon Byaruhanga before kick off against Mbarara City
He joined Express in 1969 as a fan and later became an administrator.

Before the game against Mbarara City on Tuesday 5th March at Wankulukuku Express Football Club honored the former club administrator with a minute of silence and players and officials wore black ribbons to commemorate his service along the years to this great club.
The former administrator and lifelong Express fan Mr. Gordon Byaruhanga succumbed to cancer on Thursday 28th February at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.
He was laid to rest on Sunday 3rd March in his ancestral village Kyankukwe in Mitooma district. Born on 1st January 1951 he has survived by 4 sons and 6 daughters.
One of his sons Abbas Byaruhanga is the current fans secretary while another son Richard Ntare previously served on the marketing committee under former chairman Hassan Bulwadda.
May his soul rest in eternal peace and our thoughts will forever be with his family which continues to serve the club in various capacities.
