The Red Eagles will be back in UPL action against high flying Mbarara City a side which was languishing in relegation fight last season but has turned it around this season after acquiring former Onduparaka coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi.

Team News
The Red Eagles will be without Eric Kambale who just returned to training and won’t be match fit.
Joel Male started the game against Vipers but was substituted at halftime and didn’t train on Sunday due to some pain in the knee.
Disan Galiwango missed his first game since joining Express at the start of the season due to suspension and will be available for the game.
Charles Musoke missed the game against Vipers after failing to complete the game against Ndejje but trained well on Sunday and may be involved.
Arthur Kiggundu missed the Vipers game due to injury and he is still being assessed by the medical team.
Zaga missed the Vipers team due to being on loan from Vipers he will be available against Mbarara after shaking off an injury which made him miss the game against Ndejje.

Mbarara are having the best spell in their history they are third in the league with only 8 games to go.
They have won 11, drawn 6 and lost 5 in 22 games. They have collected 39 points. This is their second UPL season. They have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 2 in their last five games.
Who is their coach?
They are coached by former Express and Uganda Cranes midfielder Livingstone Mbabazi. He joined them from Onduparaka last season and has turned their fortunes around into a side pushing at the top of the table. His understanding of the game and getting the best out of his players is highly regarded by the football fraternity in the country.
Players to watch.
Mbarara has had many players who are having a very good season. Paul Mucurezi brought a lot of quality to the team and has contributed in all aspects. He is a leader and takes responsibility when it comes to set pieces.
Their captain Hillary Mukundane is another player who has been leading by example and getting important goals.
Ali Kimera in goal is a dependable figure in goal and gives their backline confidence because of his experience and undoubted talent.
Previous meetings
Mbarara are in their second UPL season. The 2017/18 season saw us visit Kakyeeka first and we lost 1-0. The second round game at Wankulukuku the Red Eagles edged it 1-0 thanks to a strike from David Ndihabwe after Joseph Ssemujju had missed a penalty.
This season the first round game at Kavumba Mbarara won 3-1 and the Red Eagles will have a chance to revenge that loss on Tuesday at Wankulukuku.
