They have won four games, lost 9 and drawn six. They have scored 17 goals and conceded 25. They trail the Red Eagles who are 10th by 6 points.

Who is their manager?

Maroons started the season with George Best Nsimbe but later left mid way through the season and his assistant Robert Sekweyama took over. Not so much known in the realms of coaching but was the assistant to coach Shafiq Bisaso and George Best Nsimbe last season as they helped Express survive relegation. He has also been able to keep Maroons five points clear of relegation and would hope to get the better of his former employers on Thursday.

Players to watch

Brian Majwega!
The left wing back is a constant threat from the left marauding from defense to attack. He crosses well and delivers dangerous set pieces both from corners and free kicks. Free kicks near the area have to be avoided as much as possible.

Herman Wasswa!
The veteran striker and former Red Eagle can hurt even when he is not having his best season. He is one of the few players who have played for all VEK clubs and has a proven goal scoring record here in Uganda and abroad.
