
DISCIPLINE, RESILIENCE WILL BE KEY – CHAIRMAN KIROYWA KIWANUKA.
Club Chairman Kiroywa Kiwanuka has emphasized discipline and resilience being key for the club ahead of the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Dar-es-Saalam Tanzania.
Kiwanuka who was speaking on Wednesday evening at the African Bible Institute where the team is camping appreciated the players and staff for a job well done last season but emphasized discipline and resilience going forward beginning with the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

“First of all allow me appreciate all of you for winning the league, I haven’t had the chance to meet all of you because of the current situation but that was a great job done however we’ve now stepped up the level, I need for all of you to give your all but most importantly let’s be disciplined and have the resilience because it’s the only way we shall reach greater heights going forward this season”.
Kiwanuka also added that when the lockdown is lifted, everyone at the club will have the opportunity to officially celebrate winning the league.

“Has any of you seen the trophy? He asked with the entire team replying with a NO in unison, so that’s something that will eventually happen, don’t worry about that”.
“I have also not seen it, but i know that’s something we shall surely do when the time is right, let’s focus on the job at hand and we shall definitely celebrate later”.
The Red Eagles who are returning to the regional club showpiece for the first time in eight years are pooled in group C alongside Malawi’s Nyasa Bullets and Tanzanian giants Yanga Africans SC. The team sets off on Thursday 29th August and the tournament kicks off on 1st August.
