For any midfielder, a consistent performance is always key as it helps the player cement a starting berth as they help the team win and Daniel Shabena is not any different.

The combative defensive midfielder has always contributed immensely to the team managing to register a couple of assists in over ten appearances last season although the former BUL midfielder is looking to better his performance.

“As a midfielder you want to always have that creative spark for the team because whichever way you view it, winning is the main objective so it’s important I have consistency to help the team” Shabena told the club website.

The assist away in arua against Onduparaka in the 1-0 win at the tail end of last season and the winner in the 3-2 win against Mbarara City earlier on in the season are some of the standout performances Shabena has registered and can’t wait for the upcoming season to do better.
