There’s always no better endorsement for a striker than one from former top striker and club legend Hassan Mubiru who has spoken out about new signing, striker Mustafa Kiragga.
The former Red Eagles captain who was the league’s top marksman for three straight seasons (2002,03,04) in a red shirt has allayed the fans’ fears about new arrival Mustafa Kiragga insisting the 19 year old will light up the league.
“We’ve done enough scouting to zero down on him (Kiragga), he can use both feet and also play slightly behind a forward if the coach chooses it that way, his positioning is also good so we’re covered”
Mubiru told the club website before adding,
Kiragga Mustafa during his unveiling.
“Players react differently when the league starts so the fans will have to be patient with all new players, that’s all we ask of them”
the soft spoken legend stressed.
Kiragga who was Wasswa Bossa’s fifth signing of the season is expected to provide support upfront alongside Frank Kalanda who managed 11 league goals across all competitions.
