#BRIEXP | THE LOWDOWN ON BRIGHT STARS V EXPRESS
The Red Eagles are back in action on Tuesday. Here’s everything you need to know about Tuesday’s clash against teams which are so far doing well this season.
What’s the team news?
The Red Eagles will be without Tony Odur (suspended), Isaac Mutanga (Knock), Hamis Batega (Malaria) and Ruben Paul Kabuye (Infection)
What about Bright Stars?
The host are expected to have a clean bill of health.
How have they started the season?
The hosts have only lost once in their 7 matches this season and are 3rd on the table only a point off leaders KCCA and Vipers SC who have 15 points each. They have scored 13 goals this season the most by any team in the UPL and have the best goal difference 7 along with BUL FC. They have scored 7 goals in their last two games. Their last victim is Ndejje University who they beat 3-0 away from home.
Which players might we know?
Former Red Eagle Juma Sebaduka now plays for the stars. He even scored in their last game a 3-0 win away at Ndejje University. He scored our equalizer at Mwererwe last season before Senkatuka scored the winner after a strong run.
Nelson Senkatuka: The fierce striker has so far scored 5 goals only one shy of current UPL top scorer Joel Madondo. He scored the winner last season when we visited Mwererwe. He is capable of producing a goal at any time.
Who is their manager?
They are managed by the national team goalkeeping coach Fred Kajoba. The former goalkeeper has a lot of UPL experience and knows how to organize his sides very well. They may not play the passing game that we are trying to play but they are direct and need the result inspired by their manager.
Who’s the referee?
Ali Sibila will be the man in the middle assisted by Musa Balikowa and Ronald Katenya. Alex Muhabi will the the fourth official while Ronnie Kalema will be the referees’ assessor
