Express FC unveiled Uganda Cranes forward Brian Umony on Friday at Wankulukuku. We sat down with the former SuperSport United striker and below is what he had to say.

He joined the club until the end of the season on a free transfer after his deal with his former club in India was ran down.

Of course I’m very excited Express is one of the biggest clubs in Uganda, it’s a prestigious club and I’m very excited to be part of the club. I’m very excited to be given the chance by the chairman Mr. Kiryowa and the coach Kefa Kisala.

On the expectations ahead of his new challenge…

Express FC is a club with big ambitions. They are still in the Uganda Cup and they would want to win and get a better position in the league as well so my expectation is to do well and make sure the club finishes highest on the table they can possibly and probably fulfill the ambition of wining the Uganda Cup.

To the fans…

I’m excited to play for them one of the best fans in the country I have played against them so I know them, they should continue supporting coming back to the stadium and support their club.
