All I Have To Do Is Stay Consistent – John Byamukama.
He cuts a calm figure although his cheekiness can’t go unnoticed in the dressing room, his love for unique picture poses during training describes midfeilder John Byamukama.
The holding midfielder is one of many players in that role at the club vying for a starting berth but after his good performance capped with a beautiful goal in the 2-2 draw in Stanbic Uganda Cup first leg away game against Kyetume FC, Byamukama says consistency will be key.

“To be honest there is a lot of competition at the club and healthy competition at that, as a player I know consistency keeps you in the team, I think I played well (Vs Kyetume) and my goal also boosted my confidence so i know i have to keep it up to inorder to maintain a starting berth. What counts is what you do when the gaffer trusts you so ahead of the Uganda Cup return leg (on Saturday) the focus is on advancing to the round of 16 and the team is working towards that”.
“Tooki” like he’s fondly known made four appearances for the Red Eagles this season, three off the bench while the Uganda cup draw away to Kyetume FC was his first start for the club.

Byamukama will hope to help Wasswa Bossa’s charges seal a round of 16 berth in the return leg of the stanbic Uganda cup against Kyetume FC when both sides meet on Saturday 10th April at the Betway Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Express FC have managed 10 domestic cup titles a record they share with KCCA FC. The Red Eagles last won the cup in 2007 with victory over KCCA FC.
